myBittorrent is an index of files available to download via the BitTorrent Filesharing Network.
myBittorrent does NOT host, link to, provide or engage in the uploading of any of the files listed.
myBittorrent.com is an automated website, using the Google API to find Bittorrent websites on the internet. These websites are then crawled by bots and information about their files saved to the myBittorrent.com database. This is an automated process and myBittorrent.com has no control over what is indexed. myBittorrent.com, through the use of binary hash files (aka .torrent files), stores only information about said files and not the files themeselves.
myBittorrent.com is in full compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and international copyright laws. It is our policy to respond to any infringement notices and take appropriate actions under such intellectual property laws.
Deletion Procedure
If your copyrighted material has been indexed by myBittorrent.com and you want this material removed, you must contact us and refer to the content you claim ownership to.
All submitted material must be copyrighted by you or you must be authorized to speak in behave of the copyright-holder. This means that if you submit large batches of torrents, you must check whether all of them are indeed copyrighted material. A torrent having the same name as your copyrighted material, does not explicitely have to be your copyrighted material. Failing to check if the material is really copyrighted by you can get your entire request denied. In that case you will have to resubmit your request again (with the correct URLs).
You MUST provide the following info when requesting content to be removed:
- A list of content you are requesting to be removed, including the URL where the content can be accessed.
- Sufficient contact information so that we may contact you (i.e street address, phone, fax and email).
- Evidence that you own the copyright to said content or have the authority to speak in behave of the copyright-holder.
myBittorrent.com will act on all removal requests within 14 working days.

myBittorrent.com responds to all removal requests. As long as you provide the information we have requested then we will remove the requested content from the index in a timely manner. Bombarding us with legal waffle or threatening our hosting provider will not expedite your request. It will simply increase the time we take to process your request and result in us not being friends :(
